Tokio Yukimura (雪村時雄 "Yukimura Tokio" ) is the 8th chapter of the Kekkaishi Manga written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe

Tokio Yukimura prepares to leave home for his nightly Kekkaishi duties, but is approached by his young daughter Tokine, who wants to go with him. He refuses, but Tokine insists, pointing out that she can already use the Hazama-Ryu Kekkaijutsu. Tokio agrees that she is an exceptional user, but says that he loves her and doesn't want anything to happen to her, and asks her to wait until she's in junior high.

Tatsumi Mino invites Yoshimori and Tokine to a classroom, where he reintroduces his snakes to them. Yoshimori calls it a waste of time, but Mino is just happy to know anyone else with special abilities like his. After Yoshimori and Tokine leave, Tokine mentions that she's met other ability users through the Shadow Organization, and that some have stayed at the Yukimura Home temporarily. Yoshimori realizes his family doesn't do that, and Tokine suspects it's because his mother, as an exceptional Kekkaishi, could turn down the organization's requests.

A young woman from the Shadow Organization visits Tokiko Yukimura at home. After proving her credentials (which are provided by a massive ogre hand that she summons from the street), Tokiko allows her inside. The woman later introduces herself to Tokine as Yomi Kasuga, and reveals that she was friendly with Tokine's late father. This causes Tokine to recall the night that her father died.

Young Tokine wakes up to a flurry of activity. She walks into the entryway, where she finds her mother and grandmother trying to help Tokio, who is covered in blood and being carried by Sumimura Shikigami. Tokiko rushes to the front gate, where she finds Sumiko Sumimura. Sumiko explains that she destroyed the Ayakashi responsible for Tokiko's wounds, but wonders why he pushed himself so hard. Tokiko slams the gate in her face and shouts that she won't offer any thanks. With the last of his strength, Tokio seizes Tokine's shoulder and warns her never to turn her back on "them."
